Growing up in Los Angeles my weekends consisted of hours with my mom either in her garden or at the Getty Museum. I had an art appreciation early on, specifically still-life floral and fruit paintings of the 18th century. I was truly fascinated with artists like Jan van Huysum, Henri Fantin-Latour, and Monet.
Over the years my mom showed

Over the years my mom showed me a true appreciation for the beauty behind the blooms. I had originally moved to the Bay Area to continue pursuing a career in medicine but instead, I transformed my admiration for 18th-century floral paintings into modern-day art with flowers.
I found my own true passion for flowers while working at a major floral retailer. I wanted to have no limitations and have complete artistic freedom to create something truly special and memorable. My passion for creating artistic pieces and being part of your memorable day is why I started Envy Floral Design. My style and design have no limitations for your floral dreams!

As a California Native, I have spent my time exploring the Golden State's natural treasures.
From Joshua Trees to Redwoods I have gained experience, knowledge and inspiration from the native flora not only for decorative use but healing. And through this creative process, my desire for floral design was born. When not out exploring or creating, I teach at local Bay Area elementary schools.

As a plant enthusiast, I veered to floral design at the age of 18.

When not working with plants and flowers I can be found taking scenic drives admiring them.
